Select a Russian Visa that fits your itinerary

Q3.1  What types of visas are available?
TOURIST visas usually permit one entry into Russia and one exit, and a maximum stay of one month. Some nationalities are allowed double entry visas while others only have a two-week maximum validity. Check with your nearest Russian Consulate before you apply.

There are three types of BUSINESS visa. Single entry visas allow one border crossing into Russia and one exit and are valid for either one month or three months.

Double entry visas allow two border crossings into Russia and two exits and are also valid for one month or three months. They are suitable for two separate trips to Russia, or one outbound trip via Russia, to Central Asia for example, and one return trip via Russia.

Multi-entry visas offer an unlimited number of border crossings in both directions during the validity period of the visa. They are valid for three, six or twelve months.

Q3.2  Which visa is best for me?
The best visa is one that comfortably covers your travel dates, preferably with a few spare days at each end in case of unforeseen changes in itinerary. It should also permit the right number of border entries for your trip, and it should be obtainable well before your travel date.
